The final video of the 2014 Pro-Line Racing and 5150 Productions theme of “bucket list races”, has been released and they are going full throttle at the 2014 “Pro-Line Cactus Classic” located in Scottsdale Arizona. The video is narrated by Adam Drake with Dakotah Phend & Ty Tessmann featured as they try to tame a very difficult Sugar track.
This was a terrific series with a great up close and personal look at the RC world, I hope they decide to do another run next year.
This episode of Come Drive with Us not only features The Reedy Race, but they also feature Ty Tessmann, one of the Worlds top Off-Road drivers. In case you didn’t know, the Reedy Race is so prestigious that a lottery drawing is conducted for participation in the open class. Only 200 racers are given the honor of competing in the event.
Grab some popcorn and check out the madness
This video features a product tour of the all new HB D413 from HPI Racing. The HB D413 is the 4wd buggy that Ty Tessman used to take first-place at the 2013 ROAR Nationals. The D413 allows you to choose between two different battery configurations: a conventional saddle pack arrangement or a ‘shorty’ Li-Po pack. It has 12mm big-bore shocks with threaded bodies and mud guards and check out the suspension arms. The HB D413 Kit should be in stores in late April. Look for a retail price of around $429.99. Pro-Line B5 Phantom
Pro-Line has had a busy couple days. Yesterday they released a sneak peak pic of their new Phantom body for the Team Associated B5 Buggy Kit.
Today they posted a video introducing the 2014 Pro-Line Factory Team.
Do you happen to remember the post we ran back in November about the Pro-Line racing camp being hosted with Ty Tessmann and his mechanic Gord Tessmann? If not you can read about it by clicking HERE.
The video above, which was released by Pro-Line fills us in on the four day camp by giving us some highlights, a quick look behind the scenes and some feedback.
What a great opportunity for those involved. I hope they consider bringing something like this to Canada.
You can read more about the 110% Racing Camp on their Facebook Page.
Ty Tessmann: “I am excited to be part of this successful, progressive race team and I look forward to having a very successful 2014 season. I would like to thank Kendall and Marty for the opportunity to be part of the A Main team.”
Check out the video above of Ty Tessmann putting his Pro-Line PRO-2 Short Course Truck through it paces. On his Facebook page, he gives credit to his sister Jesse for the talented video work. It is not easy to put yourself in the right position to capture those shots and she did a great job. The video was shot at Ty’s local club, the RC3 Club track in Medicine Hat, Ablerta.
