Here are a few things the Halifax RC Park Committee are currently working on.
– The Bash Area. It is starting to take shape (See pics below). We hope to finish it up this season.
– Bleachers. We had a set a bleachers delivered and placed on the first baseline. We hope to secure another set of bleachers for the third baseline. These are a nice substitution for a drivers stand.
– Drivers Stand. We have been looking into building codes, wheelchair accessibility and cost. We want to ensure this is done properly and it is not something we want to rush. We hope to have one in place for the start of the 2015 season.
– Drainage. We have been working to overcome the water pooling issues after heavy rains and have been making great progress. This is something that we will continue to address until it is fixed. Continue Reading
We need to compile some data regarding use of the Halifax RC Park. This info will help us in efforts to raise funds for maintenance and improvements, as well as determine user habits to help us form a better game plan for next year.
The final video of the 2014 Pro-Line Racing and 5150 Productions theme of “bucket list races”, has been released and they are going full throttle at the 2014 “Pro-Line Cactus Classic” located in Scottsdale Arizona. The video is narrated by Adam Drake with Dakotah Phend & Ty Tessmann featured as they try to tame a very difficult Sugar track.
This was a terrific series with a great up close and personal look at the RC world, I hope they decide to do another run next year.
RPM have launched a new website. The new site is easy-to-use, it has a Make-Model search and is a nice upgrade over its reliable but dated predecessor. I really like the new look and quickly testing it out, it seems very functional. Great job by the team at RPM.
I woke up this morning, to find this picture in our inbox. No words needed, just click on it and soak it in. Thank You to Max Speed of Max Speed Studios, for this incredible shot. You can also check out Max Speed Studios on Facebook.
