Things are moving along at the Halifax RC Park, we had 5 loads of top mix dropped off today and the other night we threw down another potential layout. This time instead of sketching it on paper, we used the lane dividers and the actual RC Park. This layout has a centre line of 504ft, it still features 12ft wide lanes, the 100ft straightaway and could produce a lap time around the 30 second range. This layout is still very fast, but it has a small technical section that should keep your attention and offer up some fantastic overtaking opportunities. In the next few days, if the weather co-operates and we have a little luck, the track will be smoothed out, the top mix will be added and smoothed and the lane dividers will be secured to the ground. Jumps, a rhythm section and table top are in the very short term plans, but the current focus is to get a track down and have it functional.
Sit back, relax and watch as my wife tries to put down a hot lap on a terrible surface. I was impressed. To be honest my lap didn’t make the cut, I spun out and I roofed it. I wish that I had the RhinoForce S2 installed on this SCT.
