After almost 7hrs, I have finished the build. It was great fun and I learned a lot. The most important tool I had for the build was the #4-40 Tap, my headlamp also came in handy. Videos Building a TLR 22 Diff with Matt Castellano Video and Updated Shock Building Video with Dustin Evans made things a lot easier. This is definitely something I will do again, but first I need to finish this one with a different Motor and ESC. I have decided to go with the Castle Sidewinder V3.
The final step was to paint the body and I went with bright yellow and black.
While I wait for my new motor and esc to arrive, I have been driving this rig for about two weeks. I love how it handles with the stock setup, and have only made small adjustments. I don’t run this vehicle on what would be perceived as an ideal track and I am just starting to experience some slight binding in the steering rack. I believe this is due my track conditions and that is why I ordered the 22 Steering Conversion Kit from Exotek (Which I will be reviewing soon). I have a Traxxas Slash 2wd with a Proline LCG and I must say that I prefer the TLR 22SCT hands down. It just fits my driving style better and I love all of the tuning options. My son on the other hand prefers the Slash. What you like better, may simply come down to your skill and competition level. I should also mention that I have had some fairly hard impacts and to this point, nothing has broke. I would definitely recommend the TLR 22SCT kit to anybody that has some RC experience. TLR have done an amazing job putting this kit together.
So what was in Bag F? Well, it contained optional shock pistons.

UPDATED JULY 31, 2013 The battery straps are starting to get on my nerves, they work fine with some batteries and with others I see my battery passing my truck on the track, this is not a good thing. I am considering the Exotek 22 STRAP AND BATTERY HOLD SET (22, 22T, 22SCT) and any other possible options. I will keep you posted.
