Bag E: It is sad to see my build coming to an end. Before I began this step I installed my Receiver and ESC. In this step I will be doing the Front body mount, Side bumpers, Battery tray, Antenna and wheel assembly. The kit comes with two sets of rims along with a choice between wheel disc(TLR7006) or Beadlock Rings(TLR7005). This step went by quick, I didn’t run into any problems.
Upgraded/ Mod Parts Used: I decided not to use any of the wheel dressings. To me the Wheel Discs were neat, but seemed a little much. I am thinking of possibly trying to dye them and use them in the future. The Beadlock Rings look great, but when installed they seemed to create a place that dirt would be easy to get in and hard to get out. Probably not an issue on a properly groomed track, but we run on backyard tracks. I am running a Traxxas Velineon power plant, for two reasons. 1) I had an extra system lying around. 2) I still can’t decide what I want to run in this vehicle. Suggestions are welcome. I did waterproof the receiver using Plasti Dip and these directions.
Important tools used to complete Bag E: #4-40 Tap, Headlamp, and 2mm hex driver.
Tip from Bag E: There is nothing in this step to concern you.
Total Time to complete Bag E: 25min
