Bag B: After a goodnight sleep, I started out checking over my previous work. I came across two loose screws so I tightened them up and moved on to Bag B. In this step you are required to assemble the rear of the truck. You will be building the drive shafts, suspension arms, and shock tower etc.
This bag went together very easily. I read in the instruction book to apply “Black Grease” to the Drive Shafts. I was very happy to see that the required grease and thread lock have been provided with the kit. The only problem I encountered was some screws got stripped while installing parts.
Upgraded/ Mod Parts Used: In this step you will have the option to go with a mid-motor or rear motor placement. I opted for the rear motor position, simply because that’s what I know. I do intend to try a mid-motor placement at some point in the future.
Tip from Bag B: I ruined 3 screws before I started using the #4-40 Tap, to pre-thread the holes. After that no more screws were ruined in this part of the build. I would recommend a Tap and/or extra screws.
Total Time to complete Bag B: 58 min.
